As a 4-day school district, CISD’s calendar sometimes requires school to be in session on holidays traditionally observed with a day off in order to meet instructional requirements. When this occurs, we remain committed to recognizing the importance and history of these occasions and using them as meaningful opportunities for learning.
We are especially grateful to our families for supporting student attendance today! We had many more students in school today, as compared to the Friday school day during Labor Day week last year. This is an encouraging reflection of our families’ continued commitment to having students present and engaged in learning. Thank you! 💙💛

Shelter in place has been lifted. Classes have resumed as usual.
The district is currently in a Shelter in Place due to a bear sighting on campus. Everyone is safe and inside. Game and fish have been contacted. We will provide an update once the situation is resolved. Thank you!
