Early this morning, a Cuba ISD school bus was involved in a traffic accident in Farmington when another vehicle struck the bus. Students were on board and 911 was called to the scene. At this time, there are no reports of any injuries, and our staff are working to ensure students are safely transported and supported.

We are proud to share that Cuba High School teacher Mary Catey has been awarded a 2026 CASE Implementation Grant sponsored by Corteva Agriscience, bringing $4,800 to enhance hands-on agricultural science instruction for our students. This exciting opportunity will provide new tools, lab equipment, and resources that strengthen STEM learning and real-world experiences in our agriscience program for the 2026–2027 school year.
